Bend’s KIDS Center’s April Blue Ribbon Campaign

“The KIDS Center brought the campaign to Central Oregon in 1997 to raise awareness of the epidemic of child abuse in our community. The Blue Ribbon Campaign also focuses on educating individuals and groups on how to better protect children in their lives, and in our community from child abuse.“

Founded in 1994 by community members, KIDS Center works together with law enforcement, medical providers and social service agencies to create a supportive response to child abuse through prevention and diagnosis. The KIDS Center serve Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties, and the Warm Springs Reservation at our Bend center.
